Big Life is in the business of changing lives. We fight inequality by working with people and places to create opportunities and inspire change. Whatever service we deliver to help people to change their lives, we do things .

What you’ll be doing

As an Administrator, you’ll play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our services. Working alongside our dedicated Manchester Talking Therapies team, you’ll provide essential administrative support, assisting with daily tasks and ensuring deadlines are met. The Administrator role provides an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to roles involving one-to-one support with service-users, such as trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners or peer/wellbeing coaches. By offering personal administrative support to our qualified PWPs, you’ll gain exposure to various clinical interventions, administrative processes, and risk management procedures integral to these roles. This experience will enhance your knowledge and prepare you for future applications for permanent positions.

  What we need from you

  • You will have experience in supporting others to complete daily tasks and work towards deadlines.
  • You will have strong organisational and time management skills.
  • You will have the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • You have computer literacy and the willingness to learn new systems.
  • You will be highly motivated with a person-centered approach.

What we will offer you in return

  •   An annual salary of £23,500 (SCP 5 on NJC Scale)
  • A permanent 37.5-hour contract.
  • 25 days holiday per annum (pro rata)
  • Based at Oakland House, Talbot Road, Manchester (Travel to other sites will be necessary).
  • A relaxed culture where you are expected to plan your own day, take breaks when you need them and enjoy your work
  • Ongoing personal and professional development through regular supervision
  • A supportive, flexible approach to managing staff health and wellbeing, including a wide range of perks, schemes, and support.
