Would you like the opportunity to join the busy PTTC as a Programme Administrator, providing administrative and organisational support to staff and students across a range of training programmes?

Here at the Psychological Therapies Training Centre (PTTC) we are being commissioned to run more postgraduate training programmes by Health Education England (HEE) and CPD training for GMMH staff and doctors. We are therefore looking for 0.8 wte Programme Administrator to join our ever-expanding admin team. The position is a 30 hour a week post which can be worked over 4 or 5 days.

We are looking for a highly motivated person with a good PA/administrative background and at least 3 years’ experience working as an administrator at a similar level (i.e., Team Secretary, Medical Secretary, Office Manager, Personal Assistant, Senior Administrator). You must have a helpful, proactive and flexible attitude to join our existing Admin Team. You should be able to organise, plan, prioritise and deliver to competing demands, even under stress. You should have experience of using IT packages Word and Excel to a high level along with experience of minuting meetings.

You would be the administrator for at least two programmes and working as part of a wider admin team providing cover for any absences (annual leave and sickness).

Please be aware that we are part of the Corporate Sector and are not a Psychological Service.

You should be able to organise, plan, prioritise and deliver to competing demands, even under stress. You should have experience of using IT packages Word and Excel to a high level along with experience of minuting meetings.

We are investing in a new learning platform and all administrators will be involved with the development of this.

This part time role will provide variety & challenge within a supportive friendly environment. You will need to be a team player who can communicate effectively and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

Since Covid the way we work has changed and you will have the opportunity to split your working week between office and home. Whilst on your induction, you will be required to be in the office on certain days specified by your line manager.
