We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Community Care Worker, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £22.14 - £27.55 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Assess for and identify eligible needs, deploying resources which maintain and promote independence
  • Review to ensure services remain appropriate to need
  • To demonstrate understanding of the Councils Customer Care Standards and ensure that these standards are met in order to deliver the Council vision of putting our residents first.
  • To use knowledge and skills to enable customers to live as independently as possible within the limitations of their circumstances and disabilities
  • To maintain knowledge of the current Team Plan and understanding of own contribution in order to ensure delivery of this plan.
  • To demonstrate cost-consciousness and identify any cost effective changes to own way of working.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a basic education that may include passes at GCSE level or equivalent
  • Experience of working with people who have disabilities in the community or social care settings or through personal experience
  • Sound ICT and administrative skills, ability to produce clear reports to a deadline for internal and external circulation, including assessments, reports, care plans and reviews

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS
