London, United Kingdom University of Greenwich Full time

Apprenticeships play a key part in the University’s 2030 strategy ‘Education without Boundaries’ and we have ambitious plans to grow our apprenticeship provision across all faculties. We are looking to appoint an experienced IQA Officer to joining our growing team.

This is a new role within the Apprenticeship hub that sits in the Directorate of Employability and Apprenticeships, and there is scope to develop new, and scale existing, standard operating procedures. This role will be responsible for quality performance and undertake Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities within our apprenticeship provisions to ensure colleagues adhere to the high standards of quality and compliance.

You will ensure that learners are adequately prepared for their End-Point Assessment (EPA) while meeting all regulatory requirements and be a key contributor to the self-assessment procedures, actively contributing to plans for enhancing quality to improve the overall learner experience and outcomes.

You will work with the programme leads and University Quality Assurance team to ensure that there are robust checks on apprenticeship learning, verifying, and confirming apprenticeship end-point assessment decisions, analysing learner outcomes to inform improvement activity, and undertaking quality assurance activity across all stages of the learner journey.

There will be close collaboration with apprenticeship skills coaches, providing guidance and advice and ensuring high-quality progress reviews, and standardisation in good practice across the programmes.

You need to be able to form good working relationships with a range of both internal and external stakeholders and be committed to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of any changes from the various regulatory bodies we work with.

Please note, there is a minimum requirement of 2 days a week working onsite, one of which will be a fixed day at the Greenwich Campus.
