As the2nd Line Technical Support Engineer, you'llbe at the forefront of diagnosing and resolving IT incidents.Utilising your technical expertise and problem-solving skills youwill act as a primary escalation point within theteam.
KeyResponsibilities
- Resolve complex 2nd Line technicalsupport incidents and requests across various businesses ofdifferent sizes and industries.
- Acting as apoint of escalation for 1st Line engineers working as ateam.
- Remediate vulnerabilities and applysecurity configurations
- Act as a role model toother engineers and provide advice and contribute to knowledge baseguides.
- Help to manage and monitor thehelpdesk, identify, and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessaryrepairs or upgrades
- Escalate support issues ina prompt and timely manner to 3rd line asrequired
- Perform scheduled maintenance toensure system efficiency andreliability.
- Support the development ofknowledge-based articles.
- Ensure IT equipmentis received, prepared, and deployed at client sites in compliancewith asset management standards.
KeyRequirements
- 2 yearsplus experience in a customer-focused IT role, such as onsitedesktop support, service desk, or technicalsupport.
- Expertise and strong understanding ofWindows, Apple iOS and MacOSenvironments.
- Strong knowledge of productivitysuite administration including Office 365 products, Exchange,SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
- AzureFundamentals
- Basic Windows Serveradministration including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP andDNS.
- Solid understanding of networkinfrastructure, including DNS, WiFi, VLANs, and VPNs, with anability to troubleshoot connectivityissues.
- Experience with VOIPtechnologies.
- Experience with Autotask PSA orsimilar helpdesk
- DrivingLicence.
