GSL Education Doncaster, South Yorkshire are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behavior Mentor to join our dynamic school community in Doncaster.

Job Summary: As a Behavior Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioral challenges, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement behavior management strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behavior.
  • Support students in developing social and emotional skills.
  • Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure consistent support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Behavior Mentor or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior effectively.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young people.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in behavior management is preferred.
