HSE Administrator

Location: Hybrid. Marshall Head Office – Cambridge.

Salary: £25,700 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday

The Role

The HSE Administrator is a brand new and exciting role created within our Health, Safety and Environment team, to support the business with Technician Health Assessments and Environmental Compliance administration.

This is a unique opportunity to develop a strong understanding of environmental compliance and facilitate important technician health checks.

What will I do?

Managing the Tech health inbox and scheduling appointments with our Occ Health Provider. Collaborate with Human Resources where required and ensure all new starters are added to the schedule. Liaising with site management to ensure they are aware of their requirements, send back the schedule on time, and answer any general questions. Arrange any referral appointments and escalate where required to the relevant HSE Advisor. Keep the health surveillance tracker current, use the portal to track results, and ensure deadlines are met. Liaise and build relationships with our key contractors to ensure compliance and best practice Support and arrange reactive callouts for sites and also orgnaise effective follow-ups for quotes and any remedial work required Compiling monthly energy consumption reports, recording energy saving actions completed at each site, collection information required for the ESOS Annual Progress Update Report Recording and compiling information about water use (both for office use and valeting) at each site. Recording Quarterly Produced Hazardous Waste Collection Reports for each site in the PortalChecking the existing information on file and liaising with the property team to obtain necessary drainage layouts, maps, and historical issue information. Chasing attendance reports, investigation reports from contractors. Supporting our environmental coordinator on environmental compliance both with proactive and reactive requests for sites to ensure they are fulfilling their legal obligations and to support with best practice and new initiatives.

What do I need?

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel Strong listening and communication skills both verbally and in writing Problem solving and excellent attention to detail Experience of working in a fast-paced environment Good experience in building and sustaining effective relationships remotely at all levels Proven organisational, time management and efficient administration skills Ability to prioritise work effectively and manage multiple priorities
