Are you passionate about caring for young people? Are you looking for a new challenge in September and interested in working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Teaching Assistants in Coventry and surrounding areas for upcoming opportunities in the new year. The Teaching Assistants will work alongside the class teacher to provide a welcoming, and energetic classroom experience for children of all abilities. We offer a range of part-time, full-time, day-to-day, and long-term opportunities to suit your needs

Competitive pay rates at £84 per day with opportunity for increase dependent on experience.

Responsibilities will include:

•            Collaborating with the class teacher to assist in the effective delivery of lesson plans.

•            Confidence working with students who need additional support either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

•            Monitor and track students' progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.

•            Good classroom control and behaviour management.

•            Having a warm and positive approach in the classroom demonstrating care, patience and understanding.

What you will need:

•            A keen passion for education and learning.

•            Enhanced DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one.

•            Classroom experience desired, but not essential.

These opportunities will suit someone with prior school-based experience. It may also suit someone from a health and social care background as well as those with experience of challenging behaviour settings, psychology graduates, 1:1 support, sports coaches, and mentoring backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
