Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the overall learning experience of students. Your responsibilities will include:

Student Support: Provide individual and small group support to students, assisting with understanding lesson content and reinforcing key concepts.

Resource Preparation: Collaborate with teachers to prepare and organise materials, ensuring all students have an effective learning experience.

Inclusive Education: Create an inclusive classroom culture by supporting students’ diverse needs, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour and achievements, contributing to the assessment and feedback process.

Classroom Assistance: Assist teachers in managing classroom activities, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

* Enhanced DBS Check or be willing to complete one.

* Relevant Qualifications: Possess relevant teaching or education qualifications, or experience within a school setting.

* Empathy and patience, with a genuine desire to support students in their educational journey.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
