Role Overview: As a Food Technology Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating students in the field of food technology. You’ll create engaging lessons, develop practical skills, and encourage students’ passion for culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Food Technology lessons to students across different year groups.
  • Foster a love for cooking, nutrition, and food safety.
  • Develop students’ practical skills in food preparation and presentation.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on coursework and projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
  • Passion for inspiring students and promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
