Product Owner - Sustainability Solutions

We are a global provider of industrial product and services solutions, placing sustainability at the core of our strategy for our customers, products, solutions and supply chain, not to mention our people and culture.
As part of a new Accelerator Function for customer solutions and services, you will be responsible for defining and exploring customer ESG challenges and developing solutions by tapping into RS’s extensive existing solutions offerings, and building new commercial opportunities.
You will then design the operational delivery process of these services and lead the delivery of a commercial solution that can be offered to our customers through our sales teams and online channels. This role will require collaborating cross-functionally and globally within the Services & Solutions Accelerator function and the whole business to design the customer value proposition and end-to-end operational processes to ensure a seamless customer experience.
As part of delivery, you will work with third party suppliers to arrange contracts, define commercial relationships and own the suppler relationship, relating to services. A key part of this activity will be working with internal functions such as Legal and Indirect Procurement to ensure we have robust contracts in place. You will collaborate with suppliers, campaign managers, and marketing leads to design marketing materials. You will ensure new propositions have the relevant collateral to bring them to life. You will continuously collaborate and build relationships with various sales teams to ensure that they understand the service offering, provide data around target customers, and support the sales teams with communicating the offering with their customers.
Once delivered you will monitor the solution for success as defined in the design stage and plan any optimisation activities and/or expansion activities into other operating companies or markets.
