About theRole:

The Senior Web Developerrole is pivotal in enhancing the company's online presence andensuring a seamless user experience. Responsibilities includedeveloping and maintaining the website using WordPress andJavaScript, integrating eCommerce frameworks to bolster the onlinesales platform, and collaborating with marketing and design teamsto convert concepts into engaging and functional webdesigns.

KeyResponsibilities:

Develop,maintain and upgrade websites using WordPress, JavaScript, andeCommerce frameworks

Collaborate with themarketing and design teams to craft engaging webexperiences

Implement UI/UX designs to createvisually appealing and user-friendly web pages

Optimise website performance for speed andresponsiveness

Ensure the website isSEO-friendly and implement strategies to improve search enginerankings

Integrate eCommerce functionalities tosupport online sales and transactions

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Web Developer, with expertise in WordPressand JavaScript

Experience with headlessWordPress architecture and API development

Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5,CSS3, and responsive design principles

Proficiency in web optimization techniques and SEO bestpractices

Proficiency in building APIs tofacilitate data exchange between front-end and back-endsystems

Strong communication and interpersonalskills

Experience with Git version control is aplus

AdditionalRequirements:

Familiarity withRESTful API principles and best practices.

Ability to design, implement, and document scalable and secureAPIs.

Experience with integrating third-partyservices and APIs into web applications.

Knowledge of server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, PHP) andframeworks (e.g., Express.js) for APIdevelopment.

Understanding of databasemanagement systems, such as MySQL or MongoDB, for API data storageand retrieval.
