As the Electrician your duties & responsibilities will include:
Install and commissioning of telemetry RTU’s Carrying out panel modifications and good understanding of electrical drawings Have knowledge of water process and have experience with simulating plant process (i.e. Level controllers, flow meters etc) Continual professional development including professional registration is encouraged and actively supported. Attend and contribute to internal, and occasionally, external progress meetings. Participate in design co-ordination with other engineering disciplines and professionals.Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Understanding of the current Wiring Regulations A current SJIB grade card or equivalent Experience in testing, calibration, installation, repair and inspection of all flow, monitoring and analytical instruments Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, and to manage Clients Good Working knowledge of Safety, Health Environment and Quality Procedures Capability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands Complex certificate (desired) Confined space trained (desired A water industry background (desired)Additional Information
You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction The work will be predominantly site based and will require a flexible approach which will include working from home from time to timeAs a valued employee of the M Group Services Water Division, you’ll be entitled to:
