Job Title: Team leaders for Residential Children's Home

Location: Preston PR1 Area

Salary: up to 36400 depending on experiences and number of sleeps per week

Shift pattern : Long days | Sleeps | Full time

We are excited to be hiring for experienced Team leaders for Residential Children's home  to join our client's service based in Preston

This is a Residential Children's home, EBD 2 bed home, specialising in the care and support for young people, promoting independence and protection.

Excellent training provided including the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 5. Excellent career progression opportunities

Main duties:

  • To assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to in achieve the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation's Mission Statement and Values.
  • To support and manage the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
  • To undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
  • To ensure each shift is planned and resources allocated.
  • To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
  • To offer supervision and support to staff in line with National Minimum Standards and as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager.

Team leader   position requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, Equivalent, Children & Young Peoples Workforce- Desirable
  • 1-2 years of working within a Residential Ofsted environment - Preferred
  • Experience of working with children and young people ages 8-18 years with EBD
  • Have experienced challenging young people
  • Strong knowledge around Ofsted regulations
  • MUST  hold full UK drivers licence
