At KCS the primary role of the Web Developer is to create and implement client-side solutions on top of the KCS Ecommerce Products. 

Key Responsibilities:

Using PHP to produce user-friendly HTML web solutions. Collaboration with other members of the team to improve usability on existing and new projects. Working with the front-end developers with coding and investigation of issues. Working with colleagues in other KCS teams with integration into ERP systems Ensuring high-quality and efficient/optimised source code to maximise response times, and a slick user experience. Maintain existing projects. Liaising with clients where necessary.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience :

Required Experience & Knowledge:

Experience in the following technologiesPHPJQueryHTMLLess/CSS/FlexboxApacheMySQL/MariaDBLinux (maintaining local website distributions)Git Proven work experience in a Web Developer role Experience in browser testing and debugging (e.g. Chrome Console) Knowledge of SEO and its implementation Knowledge of eCommerce Experience of mentoring and supervising developers Writing technical specifications

Ideal Experience & Knowledge:

Twig templating Zend Framework/Laminas MVC Composer Bower Bootstrap JIRA Automated release procedures Agile JSON-LD rich snippets Full stack development Photoshop / Gimp Mobile and desktop design practises Web Services – SOAP/Restful / JSON/XML A/B Testing / C# / SQL Server / IIS

Skills & Qualities:

The ability to communicate ideas clearly, both verbally and via documentation. The ability to work alone and collaborate remotely. The ability to adapt to changing priorities. The ability to learn new/existing technologies. Have experience of working in Linux environment and servers. Please provide URL links to eCommerce websites that you have worked on.

This KCS Sales team member will be part of the overall North American sales team, the position will work across the K8 & Navigator and SmartDistributor product lines.
