The James Cook's Emergency Department is expending its nursing team We are excited to offer the opportunity for a registered nursing associate to join our excellent and dynamic team. Are you a registered nursing associate looking to experience and develop within emergency medicine? Are you a newly qualified/due to qualify and keen to start your new role in ED?
Main duties of the job
The James Cook University Hospital is a Major Trauma Centre covering a vast area of the North East of England. Within the Emergency Department you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience across all specialities and major trauma. It is a fast paced and busy department where staff can enhance their clinical skills and work within a multi-disciplinary team. We offer support, training and career development, including opportunities to access conversion courses to band 5.
The Emergency Department offers a supportive, innovative and inclusive team. We are looking for someone who is committed to team working, providing excellent patient care and personal and professional development this is an exciting opportunity.

About us
Leadership and Improvement Training
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the New and Aspiring leaders programme, and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. After you complete this one and a half day of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
