TPFRecruitment are seeking a diligent and detailoriented PartTimeBookkeeper to join our clients team for 2530 hours per week inMaidenhead. As a Bookkeeper you will play a crucial role inmaintaining accurate financial records for our clients ensuringcompliance with relevant regulations and providing essentialsupport to the accountingteam.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Maintainaccurate and uptodate financial records for clients usingaccounting software (e.g. QuickBooksXero).
  • Processaccounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly andaccurately.
  • Reconcilebank statements and credit card transactions on a regularbasis.
  • Prepareand submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRCregulations.
  • Assistin the preparation of financial reports including profit and lossstatements and balancesheets.
  • Collaboratewith colleagues to ensure timely completion of monthend and yearendclosingprocedures.
  • Respondto client inquiries and provide assistance with financial mattersasneeded.
  • Keepabreast of changes in accounting regulations and best practices toensure compliance andefficiency.


Requirements
  • Provenexperience as a bookkeeper or similar role preferably within achartered accountancy firm or financial servicesenvironment.
  • Proficiencyin accounting software and MS Office suite with advanced Excelskillspreferred.
  • Strongattention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financialrecordkeeping.
  • Excellentorganizational and time management skills with the ability toprioritize taskseffectively.
  • Strongcommunication skills both written and verbal with the ability tointeract professionally with clients andcolleagues.
  • Aproactive and adaptable approach to problemsolving with awillingness to learn and develop newskills.
  • Arelevant accounting qualification (e.g. AAT) or working towards oneis desirable but notessential.
