Position Summary :

The Agency Account Director will develop business relationships with advertising agencies to position core categories of demand and lead generation solutions in the areas of Content Solutions, Pipeline Acceleration Solutions, Research and Digital Display. Utilizing a consultative approach paired with their knowledge of the challenges faced by digital marketers utilizing advertising agencies, the Agency Account Director will present and close innovative, integrated and custom solutions. 

Employees are required to be present at the approved work location in order to perform the functions of this position.

Essential Job Functions “What You’ll Do” :

  • Identify net new advertising agencies utilizing multi-channel resources to identify viable prospects.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with current advertising agencies through routine engagement of contacts to ensure Company solutions remain top of mind while educating clients on the general market conditions while providing exemplary customer service.
  • Conduct a consultative assessment of the business needs to position innovative, integrated and custom solutions/ programs to advertising agency accounts.
  • Close client contracts.
  • Develop a business plan and implement sales strategies to enable the sale of solution(s) that aligns with company revenue goals and profitability objectives.
  • Provide pipeline management, business forecasts and relevant performance metrics to report progress to goal(s).
  • Identify new lines of business to increase the Company’s solution portfolio in the areas of Content Solutions, Pipeline Acceleration Solutions, Research, Digital Display and Sales Development Representative Service.

Essential Qualifications “What You’ll Need”: 

  • Proven sales record in selling demand and lead generation solutions to advertising agencies and/ or enterprise customers.
  • Proven business acumen with a deep understanding of the sales process.
  • Knowledge and experience with business plan development, execution and management.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and/ or annual basis.
  • Experience with program measurement and analytics not limited to opportunities created, forecasting revenue and sales performance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Initiative to identify new prospects and solutions to grow the business and its portfolio.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, critical thinking, problem solving and negotiating skills to make strategic decisions.
  • Effective communication skills coupled with solid presentation skills.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment that exemplies a commitment to the Company’s core values.
  • Ability to articulate Company value proposition to prospects and clients.
