Support Worker – Stoke on Trent - Female - Waking Nights

Aspirations Care are looking to recruit a Female Full-time permanent Support Worker (Waking Nights) in the ST3 area of Stoke on Trent. As a support worker you will be passionate about supporting adults with Learning Disabilities/Challenging Behaviour.

Job Title: Intensive Support Worker - Driving Essential Location: Stoke on Trent (ST3) Salary: £12.50 per hour Hours: Full time - days 

About You:

Ideally you will have a minimum of 6 months experience supported adults – this is not essential. Passionate about making a difference. Ability to adapt to difficult situations. A positive and caring nature. Energetic and understanding. A good sense of humour. A full UK drivers license is essential to be considered for this role

Main Duties:

As a Support Worker, you will be working as part of a team providing support for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health, and autism.

Helping with the challenges of everyday life such as dressing, cooking and general household tasks Participate in hobbies, supporting with social engagements and enabling our people to live their best life Administer medication as required. Complete daily care plans Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met and to protect the adult’s rights to live safely and free from abuse or neglect. Assist the people we support to learn new skills. Understand safeguarding policies and procedures. Work as part of a team of dedicated, qualified, and capable staff team who put the people we support at the heart of what we do.
