About the Venue
Co-op Live will offer a food and beverage hospitality service that will put us head and shoulders above the crowd, as we welcome over 23,500 fans and amazing artists to taste the delicious food and drinks unique to the space in Manchester.

Role Purpose
As we gear up to opening our doors, we’re excited to announce we are looking for talented Retail / Catering / Concessions Supervisors to work with the Outlet Managers to deliver a unique experience for a catering area/bar for general admission fans.
In this role of you will:
Work closely with the Training Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager to recruit and maintain top-notch team and implement a training plan for the F&B team. Manage on-the-job training for live event days, overseeing team development in your area. Supervise a dynamic workforce of 20-50 people on live event days, delivering concise briefs as directed. Instill a culture of continuous improvement, delegate tasks, and maintain safety standards. Collaborate across departments to deliver outstanding service and environmental sustainability. Use strong interpersonal skills to lead, influence, and encourage a high standard of work.This is a casual role offering flexible shifts available around your other commitments - involves shifts at evenings and weekends.
Hourly Rate: £13.25 per hour + holiday pay on top + Service Charge
Start Date: March/April 2024 - when we open our doors to Co-op Live
Knowledge, experience & skills required:
Proven track record of supervising a team within a retail/concessions environment. Has experience of supervising in fast-paced setting within stadium, events arena, festival environment or similar. Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and fans in a clear, professional, and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment. Ability to make fast operational decisions quickly and under pressure. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Problem-solving abilities. Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
