About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled F&B Supervisor to join our team at Co-op Live, a world-class venue owned by Oak View Group. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a dynamic team of 20-50 staff members on live event days, providing clear briefs and ensuring a high standard of work.
- Work closely with the Training Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager to recruit and maintain a top-notch team, implementing a training plan for the F&B team.
- Manage on-the-job training for live event days, overseeing team development in your area.
- Instill a culture of continuous improvement, delegate tasks, and maintain safety standards.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver outstanding service and environmental sustainability.
- Use strong interpersonal skills to lead, influence, and encourage a high standard of work.
Requirements
- Proven track record of supervising a team within a retail/concessions environment.
- Experience of supervising in fast-paced settings within stadium, events arena, festival environment or similar.
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner.
- Ability to make fast operational decisions quickly and under pressure.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
