Leicester, United Kingdom NEXT Full time

While you’ll have heard our name, there’s a lot you probably don’t know about NEXT. Like how we create most of our systems ourselves – whether it’s a website, mobile app or application. What’s more, we’re growing. Fast. And it’s the kind of growth and investment that is exciting for everyone in our business.

We are seeking a detail-oriented eCommerce QA Analyst to join our eCommerce Developments team Your primary focus will be UAT testing ensuring the development changes match the User Stories and Acceptance Criteria as outlined in ADO within our PIM application. Other factors to consider are how usable the development change is ensuring that its design is intuitive and that functionality works as expected.

The role
As an eCommerce Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our platforms through rigorous testing of PIM developments, coordination of content developments with our off shore teams, and implementing automated testing processes to enhance efficiency and consistency in QA practices.

As well as creating and executing test cases to confirm that the outcome matches the expected result, you’ll also be required to share and escalate issues, blockers & defects to the Developers and Product owner. What else is involved?

UAT Testing for our PIM Applications: Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing plans for PIM-related developments to ensure functionalities meet business requirements. Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and improvements, collaborating with development teams to address any found issues. Work closely with product owners, product managers and stakeholders to understand testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and to validate new and existing functionalities. Coordination with Remote Teams: Serve as a QA point of contact for coordinating testing efforts with remote content development teams, ensuring smooth communication and consistent QA standards. Facilitate regular sync-ups with remote teams to align testing schedules, priorities, and resolve any blockers. Track and report testing progress, communicating any risks or delays to stakeholders as needed. Automation and Regression Testing: Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts to cover regression testing. Leverage automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing, reducing the manual testing load and enhancing reliability.

You’ll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office. Our offices are inspiring, yes. But we understand that life happens. So, we’re big on making sure your work, works for you which is why we offer flexible working. Bring your energy. Play to your strengths. Make things bigger and better than before. Let’s Take It On.

So if you’re an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst, who has experience of working within an eCommerce eco system, with a strong background in UAT testing, experience with test automation tools and testing methodologies and great communication skills and the ability to manage tasks, this is the place for you – and your career.

The benefits

We’ll discuss more of what you’ll get when you work for NEXT at interview, but here’s an overview of what you can expect:
