You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance processes linked to insurance placements and will work within our friendly and supportive Client Advisor team as part of Gallagher’s highly successful Public Sector & Education support team. We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail; excellent excel knowledge; good communication skills; and an ability to learn quickly. This is a hybrid role, with two days in the office, and the rest from home. How you'll make an impact Maintain a good working relationship between all applicable teams within the Retail Finance department and branches within PSE Gallagher. Oversight of aged debt process, providing support to resolve debiting & allocations issues. Escalating exception cases for additional support where necessary in order to mitigate bad debt and funding risks Monthly reconciliation of the relationship with our valued framework partners & maintenance of all associated servicing portals Responsible for reviewing & approving internal refund data for PSE regional branches, which you will own and process weekly to ensure efficient service delivery to clients Build up a good relationship with branches and correspond with them in regard to refund payments. Effective processing of unallocated cash within the first 30 days, working with client advisers to obtain remittance advices and enhance the quality of client submissions, through ongoing feedback and education Maintain incoming finance queries from branches across the region, dealing with queries from key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring this is kept within SLA, with urgent settlements prioritised. Drive to deliver as a team player supporting the wider Business Support team workload during peak periods, to ensure overall client service standards achieved. Liaise with PSE Support team management to suggest ideas for continuous improvement. For all processes Provide an excellent service to all clients putting them at the forefront of your mind whilst completing finance & renewal processing tasks. Adhere to Gallagher and FCA policies and processes Excellent working knowledge of excel will be vital to preparing & analysing finance data across the region Ensure that all client details are recorded accurately and in a timely fashion. Ensure that record keeping in relation to emails and telephones calls are saved onto the system in an accurate and timely fashion. Deal with Insurer queries in relation to client cover policies. Deal with account queries and credit control matters, ensuring they are resolved efficiently, and any concerns are raised. Perform miscellaneous office duties in support of account servicing and compliance. Manage own workload in order to effectively service the client relationship in conjunction with Client Advisor and ensure placements are completed within client deadlines. About You Educated to A-levels standard or equivalent. Previous insurance industry experience/exposure would be beneficial. Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail, using initiative when assisting team members. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A ‘can do’ attitude and flexible approach to the team’s workload Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Previous Acturis experience desirable. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Eligible to work in the UK.
