Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated support to students with SEMH needs in a PRU setting
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized learning programs
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Promote social and emotional development through targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement effective strategies
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and reports as necessary
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably in a PRU or similar setting or from a care background.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with challenging behaviours
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or support work (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
