About the Role:
Supplier Relationship Management & Negotiations: Lead SRM activities, managing supplier spend of up to £5m. Develop a customised approach to each supplier and lead negotiations as per the Ocado Procurement Policy.Develop a risk awareness mindset, ensuring risks are understood and managed through Sourcing to Contracting and the end-to-end supply chainRequirement Consolidation & Supplier Evaluation: Consolidate requirements across the Ocado Group to understand deliverables. Lead the evaluation and approval of new suppliers per the Ocado Logistics Due Diligence Policy.Best Practices & Continuous Improvement: Drive best practices in Procurement and Supply Chain. Offer advice based on CIPS model best practices.Support & Planning: Assist the Senior Procurement Manager in managing key relationships and developing category plans.About You:
Proven track record in procurement within dynamic environments, with experience in indirect goods and services in Logistics, Retail, Consumer Goods, or similar fields.Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, adapt to change, analyse supplier information, identify opportunities and risks, and prepare category plans for senior leadership.Experience in contract management, identifying key risks, with knowledge of FM Services, Consumables, Utilities, SaaS, and Fleet being a plus.Experience with large cross-functional teams, strong supplier negotiation and development skills. CIPS qualification is preferred but not essential.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs, strong planning and organising skills, and ability to lead cross-functional, multi-site procurement activities, persuade and influence stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail, proactive self-starter with high energy and motivation, resilience, and ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.What We Offer:
