The Inzpire Ltd Mission Systems Team designs, develops and delivers some of the world’s most advanced aviation mission planning, mission management and Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) systems from within our office in Lincoln. As a result of our continued success and business expansion we are delighted to offer an opportunity for a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join our award-winning team to support the on-going development of our bespoke mission systems.
Inzpire’s GECO mission system is designed to meet the situational awareness requirements of the diverse aviation mission planning and execution environment. The system combines award-winning software with modern, high-performance hardware to deliver the right information, at the right time, in the right format to military aircrew. This helps aircrew to make the correct decision quickly, ultimately enhancing the safety of operations. GECO is designed by ex-military aircrew who work closely with skilled engineers, all of whom have experience of developing avionics products for military use.
Working directly for the Safety and Security Technical Authority, the main duties of the role will include:

The successful candidate will:
· Be a proactive individual with a ‘can-do attitude’ who can work with only minimal supervision and who is not afraid to contribute their own suggestions and ideas to improve product safety.
· Be articulate, possess excellent attention to detail and have the discipline to consistently produce high-quality output whilst satisfying the requirements of applicable standards.
· Have an inquisitive/analytical mind, be able to research issues independently and suggest pragmatic, business-focused solutions.
· Demonstrate a desire to develop professionally within our growing business. Senior Functional Safety Engineer (Aviation) SPT-HR Recruitment 24-11 – Senior Functional Safety Engineer (Aviation) – Job Brief Qualifications and Experience
