Job description

Job responsibilities

Able to oversee all clinical interventions andresources within the service

Provide clinical supervision to Band 5,6 and 7staff

Providelearning and development opportunities for the whole team

Develop manualized approaches to meet the needsof SEND Offer a consultation service to other

MHSTs Continue to develop and evolve the serviceAssess and manage risk and safeguarding Able to establish and maintaineffective inter-agency and inter-team communication

To provide specialist assessment, intervention, advice,and consultation on CYPs care to colleagues, professionals from other agenciesand to other non-professional carers.

Able to plan and to lead workshops andtherapeutic groups

Able to maintain a high degree ofprofessionalism when working in settings where there is a highly emotiveatmosphere.

Able to work both in a team environment andautonomously

Person Specification

Experience

Desirable

Experience of supervising clinicians and supporting trainees. Experience with Autism and/or learning disabilities, supporting parents, assessing risk, and safeguarding needs, whilst adapting needs and resources to meet individualised needs. Experience of education and particularly SEND schools. Experience of outcome measures, data monitoring and reporting.
