MBBS MRCOG Part 2 and Part 3 or recognised equivalent Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application.

RCOG Intermediate USS in Gynaecology Presentations/Publications ATLS/ALS Course higher degree

To be eligible for appointment at the Senior level within this role you are required to have completed Specialty Registrar or equivalent training to ST6 level passing the associated competencies. Completed a minimum of three years Specialty Registrar or equivalent training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK or equivalent. Able to deal with general emergency admissions Logbook indicating validated experience of appropriate range and number of clinical procedures

Desirable

Suitable experience to allow, or past experience of third on-call Experience in Minimal Access Surgery, ideally RCOG ATSM in Gynaecological Surgery: Open and Laparoscopic Completed ST4 level/equivalent Accreditation

Skills and knowledge commensurate for a Clinical Fellow (equivalent ST7 level) post and commitment to participate in teaching Good organisation Ability to organise own learning and time

Basic computer skills including Microsoft word and Outlook

Ability to work as part of a team Ability to keep good medical records and communicate with other hospital departments and primary care Ability to understand and communicate with patients and colleagues
