University Hospitals Birmingham Foundation Trust (UHB) is recruiting two Consultant Oncologists (one clinical Oncologist and one Medical Oncologist) to join their dynamic team.
The successful post holders will join an innovative team of Consultant Oncologists, to deliver an Oncology service in one of the largest Trusts in the UK.
The successful appointees will cover Lymphoma, Urology, Hepbil and Lung tumour sites, offering specialist expertise and care to patients from across the West Midlands region.
The successful candidates can expect to work within an innovative and supportive team, compromising of Consultant Oncologists, SPRs, Physician Associates, Speciality Doctors, Junior Doctors, CNS, Nurses, Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Pharmacists, whilst being supported by dedicated administrative teams.
UHB's Oncology service delivers an extensive range of systemic anti-cancer treatments and radiotherapy treatments.Consultant-led clinics are delivered face to face and virtually, from dedicated Oncology/Haematology units at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB), Birmingham Heartlands Hospital (BHH), Good Hope Hospital (GHH) and Solihull Hospital (SHH).
Bespoke Day Unit facilities support the delivery of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive treatments from each hospital site.
Inpatient Oncology care is delivered at all of UHB's sites, supported by the Acute Oncology Team (AOS) and Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP) service.
