What you will enjoy doing This is a key role in which you will support the efficient and effective running of our Margam workshop You will undertake planned and defect maint. activities for both mechanical and cryogenic systems In addition, you will ensure vehicle maint. is carried out in a timely manner and is accurately recorded You will be required to liaise with external maint. providers and other bodies eg DAF, ATS, Michelin You will carry out the recording and allocation of all parts and their associated costs Furthermore, you will minimise any vehicle downtime and react to peak demands for vehicle availability, by working in a flexible and innovative way You will ensure all safety procedures are followed and will be expected to play a key role in our safety agenda Contributing and managing vehicle maint. costs, identifying areas of cost reduction  From time to time, you will take part in campaigns to support the Company's service And finally, as part of this role you will undertake City & Guilds, NVQ's and equivalent qualifications in LGV vehicle maintenance

What makes you great

You enjoy and are able to work as part of a team Experience of maintenance operations with the initiative to prioritise your own workloaf In addition, you are an analytical person and have an aptitude for planning and problem solving You are computer literate, specifically using Office 365, Windows, Outlook , SAP  Also, you have a thorough knowledge of the LGV Tester's manual You have experience in interacting with both external and internal customers You are a naturally highly safety conscious individual Furthermore, you have held a LGV Cat C + E Licence for a minimum of 3 years with no more than 3 valid penalty points  Holding a current ADR Licence is desirable but is not essential as this can be trained You hold a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) And finally, you work with integrity, role modelling the behaviours aligned to an all inclusive workplace
