JobSummary

This role plans and designs programmes of work to drive IT digital transformation. It defines theoverall governance heartbeat within Survitec project management office parameters. It balances the progress of individual projects with management of interdependencies and priorities, identifying andresolvingissuesandinitiatingappropriatecorrectiveactionasneeded.

Dutiesandresponsibilities

Works with IT leaders to develop the overall programme roadmap to support digitaltransformation,optimise dayto dayoperationsandminimisetechnicaldebt.

Leads execution of the Survitec digital road map, establishing and managing business processes,programs, and projects to deliver overall transformation; identifies and allocates resourceeffectively,ensuringKPIs, andgovernanceactivities.

Defines, initiates, and leads the delivery and governance of a portfolio of projects and programsto Survitecstandardmethodology.

Identifiesandquantifiesbusiness benefit;tracksandassures deliveryofthosebenefits.

Communicates program aims and their relationship to IT transformation and to Survitec’s visionand values; clarifies the actions needed to deliver those programme aims; motivates people tocommittotheseactionsandtodoingextraordinarythingstoachieveSurvitec’s businessgoals.

Leads the execution of transformational projects intended to create a digital culture acrossSurvitec,championingcollaborationandnewanddigital-enabledwaysofworking.

Defines the project and programme resource needed to deliver business outcomes; secures andmanages appropriate resource to deliver program outcomes on time and within budget;coordinates flow of additional team members on and off project teams as needed, buildingcapabilitythroughtraining,coaching,andmentoring.

Identifies project and program dependencies, constraints, risks, and issues, reporting andescalating these where appropriate. Defines, implements, and measures the impact of solutionstomitigateorovercomethese.

Develops and implements stakeholder engagement plans for projects; identifies relevantstakeholders, developing positive stakeholder relationships and ensuring each stakeholder hasanappropriateshareofvoice.

Identifies new external developments and emerging issues impacting information technologyanddigital transformation,evaluatingtheir potentialimpactonorusefulnessto Survitec.

Develops programme resource budgets and provides regular and timely budget forecasts anddrives effective, sustainable resource utilisation. Prepares clear business case for plannedvarianceinspend;analysesandpreparesplanstoaddressanyunplannedvariance inspend.

Develops and manages the benefits case for individual projects and the programme as a whole;tracks and evaluates delivery of benefit to plan, identifying actions needed to realise andmaximise these.
