An opportunity has arisen to join our in-demand supply team as a Cover Supervisor in the Vale of Glamorgan in the new year.

The role of a Cover Supervisor involves delivering pre prepared work to classes of students when the main teacher is absent. No subject specific knowledge is required, just a can-do attitude and a proactive approach. This role is a fantastic opportunity to build your classroom management skills and the experience of managing behaviour whilst maintaining a positive learning environment – essential for anyone considering a career in teaching or further into education.

Our team of cover staff work across schools in The Vale, with work available in your local schools

 

How it works:

  1. Register with us and complete the vetting process.
  2. Manage your online diary and accept work based on your availability and location.
  3. Arrive at school and collect your supply pack including work set by teachers, behaviour, and safeguarding information.
  4. Deliver the pre-set lessons, ensuring that students are on task and focussed.
  5. Return your supply pack at the end of the day and receive your pay the following Friday (weekly pay in arrears)

 

Requirements

  • Enhanced Child Only DBS with Update Service
  • EWC Registration
  • 2 Professional References
  • Degree level education (or equivalent)
