Role Overview
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining educational continuity during teacher absences. You will supervise classes across various subjects, ensuring students stay on task and complete the work set by their regular teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Supervision: Manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Lesson Delivery: Deliver pre-prepared lessons and materials provided by absent teachers.
Behaviour Management: Maintain good order and discipline in the classroom, following the school's behaviour policy.
Student Support: Assist students as needed, answering questions and clarifying instructions.
Feedback: Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour during cover lessons.
Additional Duties: Assist with other duties as required, including supporting school events and activities.

Experience: Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
Adaptability: Flexibility to cover a variety of subjects and year groups.
