International Student Adviser

Grade G (£31, - £36, p.a. pro rata)

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the International Student Support Service (part of Student Support Services) at Nottingham Trent University. 

You will provide specialist immigration advice and guidance to our international students, applicants and recent graduates, working up to OISC level 2.

You will co-ordinate and deliver the team's welcome activities for new international students.

You will deliver presentations on visa matters as well as provide one-to-one support via email, face-to-face and over the telephone. Therefore strong interpersonal and effective communication skills are essential. 

The successful candidate will be experienced in providing immigration advice and understand the support needs of international students in higher education. You will have a good working knowledge of the relevant UKVI rules and regulations as well as other relevant legislation (eg GDPR). 

You will be a motivated team player with strong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to continually review and develop the service.
