**About the Role**

Are working in a customer facing role and ready to advance your career within Higher Education?

Working in a small team spread across three campuses, the role of the Student Services Centre (SSC) Customer Adviser is an essential first contact for Students to access support, information and make enquiries at the Newton Student Services Centre.

This role is an onsite student facing role, requiring tact, diplomacy and energy, especially during the busy enrolment periods.

As a member of the SSC team, you will have a flexible approach to work in a role that has a range of responsibilities, including acting as a Front Desk Adviser, supporting MyNTU/Card Services and being the first point of contact for Student Support Services.

You will be part of the Pathways Service offering face to face appointments with students, offering first hand advice as well as linking with the specialist support services.

You will possess a natural curiosity to learn the varied IT systems and absorb our existing policies and procedures.

This role will be primarily based at Newton SSC but will be expected to cover other sites in the SSC portfolio when required.
