CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator - Night Shift - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom

Are you a skilled machinist with experience in turning and milling? Do you thrive in a night shift environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Sulzer Pumps Parts Retrofits (PPR) in Leeds. As a Night Shift Multi-Axis CNC Machinist, you’ll play a crucial role in our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.


Working Hours:
Standard hours from 21:15 to 07:15, Monday to Thursday , with optional overtime (1.5x midweek and Saturdays, 2x on Sundays)

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

Operate CNC machines with precision and expertise. Utilise your turning and milling experience to produce high-quality parts. Familiarity with multiple control systems, specifically Fanuc and Heidenhain. Interpret engineering drawings accurately. Write and execute machine programs for CNC equipment directly on the machine. Ensure the quality of machined parts meets specifications.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Proven experience as a multi-axis machinist. Proficiency in turning, milling, and CNC programming. Familiarity with Fanuc and Heidenhain systems. Ability to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings. Collaborate effectively within a team-based structure.
