Learning Activation Specialist

Hours: 37 p/week Monday Friday.

Location: Hybrid role - working from home, local Dental Practices and attending the Academy (Manchester)

Salary: Negotiable salary (DOE)

Based in a hybrid role, the Learning Activation Specialist will be pivotal in delivering exceptional training to internal colleagues covering a variety of different projects within the Dental field.

As a Learning Activation Specialist, your role will include:

  • Deliver a full end to end learning activation solution for each assigned project
  • Use technology to develop and deliver people-centric, business-oriented, and outcomes-focused learning and performance solutions
  • Solve problems when agreed plans are challenged and put in place creative solutions
  • Provide feedback on L&D processes, and input on short- to medium-term learning planning
  • Act as the first point of contact for project and works with the Development Pathway leaders to improve on the approach based on feedback
  • Support with analysis of the TNA processes, identifying trends and suggesting solutions
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback that evaluates the current situation to the appropriate person to keep a project on track
  • Describe experiences with performance design processes and tools
  • Interpret and explain design materials and documentation, identifying clear evaluation metrics
  • Bring innovation to the flow of work, taking new approaches to anticipate and meet requirements in the moment of need
  • Independently sources and verifies relevant resources that meet defined goals/needs
  • Match level and depth of subject matter to knowledge and experience level of learners
  • Stay true to the {my}dentist learning approach and strategy, driving innovation and change
  • Act as the first point of contact (online, phone and in person) for queries from all internal colleagues and external speakers, consider how we continually drive a high-quality service to all of the Academy customers
  • Prepare course materials and set up the training rooms for both clinical and non-clinical sessions
  • Liaising with cleaners, contractors and other providers to ensure the facilities maintenance and cleanliness is kept on top of at all times

As a Learning Activation Specialist, you will need:

  • Excellent attention to detail including competent in delivering all-round training and understanding of digital learning
  • Must be willing to travel to Dental practices within their region
  • Ideally a minimum of two years of experience within the Learning & Development sector
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • To be confident working with data and systems, including MS Teams
  • To be comfortable working alone as well as collaborating with the wider team and business
