Job Description
Complies with all applicable Codes, Regulations, and Company Policies related to building operations and work safety.
• General maintenance and repairs including but not limited to:
o Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good clean working order
o Minor plumbing and carpentry
o Clearing or cleaning general areas
o Shifting furniture or equipment
o Assembling furniture or equipment
o Garden/landscape installation and maintenance
o Footpath maintenance
o Painting and decorating
o Clearing gutters
o Changing filters and completing PPM on air conditioning systems
o Cleaning, servicing and testing water fixtures
o Undertake fire damper operational tests
o Emergency lighting tests
o Meter readings
o Asset inspections
o Flushing of assets- legionella control
o Repair or replacment of ceiling tiles
o Repair windows or doors
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and
supplies to complete all tasks.

RequirementsSecondary education, high school graduate, certificate in trade school or equivalent work
experience
• 3-5 years’ work experience
• Must understand how things work (facility-related)
• Must be able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors, and
vendors
• Initiative-taker and collaborator
• Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks
• Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure
• Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools
• Ability to explore a situation, assess and offer different options to formulate a plan that meets or
exceeds objectives and expectations
• Communicates effectively
• Business insight and organisational savvy
• Collaboration
• Being resilient
• Manages ambiguity
• Ensures accountability

Requirements
