Position Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistants to join our team in Dacorum. As a SEND Teaching Assistant with Protocol Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, contributing to their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supportive Learning: Assist teachers in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with SEND.
- Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, implementing strategies outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Engagement: Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging engagement and participation in class activities.
- Adaptation: Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt learning materials and activities to meet the specific needs of students with SEND.
- Observation and Feedback: Work closely with teachers to observe and monitor student progress, providing valuable feedback to inform teaching strategies.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
