This role will be responsible for the day to day management of the DTT and Radio Broadcasting terrestrial networks, including incident, change management and customer communications with direct line management of a subset of Network Operators/Co-ordinators. 

Location : Full time on site at Emley Moor, Huddersfield. 

Total Package includes.

Accountabilities:

Ensure team resources are in place within the team to deliver customer Service Level Agreements. Provide technical and operational guidance to support projects and all BAU activity. Responsible for direct and indirect line management 

  Ensure accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions taken are completed and shared with other relevant stakeholders

  Ensure testing and measurement is completed within the team to comply with regulatory, industry and customer requirements

  Produce work instructions and other training and appropriate tools/materials to support service, operational and technical delivery

  Lead the continuous improvement of operating performance, policies, processes and procedures

  Efficient management of the appropriate rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels monitoring and approving staff leave and overtime where necessary. Attend Change Advisory Board meetings as necessary.

  Review and provide feedback on all changes affecting terrestrial broadcast services.

  Act into the Broadcast Operations Manager position as and when required, to include attendance of both internal and external customer facing meetings both on and off site as and when required.

  Promote an effective Safety, Health and Environment culture, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment within area of operation.

Must Haves:   Expertise/ Experience:

Proven management experience of an operational team or similar leadership role Experience in broadcast/transmissions Broadcast
