Overview:
Our **Team Leaders** here at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focussed culture, engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of staff.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a **Team** **Leader **within our Alcohol Team in the** Kirklees Service**. This role is joining an experienced and passionate multidisciplinary team. The working hours are flexible but must cover late night opening until 8pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (working at least one) and scheduled time off on another day (e.g. early finish or late start). We support hybrid working and out Team Leader usually work 1 day per week at home and the remainder in our service in either Huddersfield or Dewsbury.

**Salary**: £34,700.09 - £36,635.38 CGL Points 31 to 33

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Working across Kirklees alongside our existing Alcohol Team Leaders, leading a team of Alcohol Recovery Co-ordinators to deliver a high quality services to people in Kirklees.
- Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles
- Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members.
- Report writing in relation to incident investigations, CQC notifications, Death Learning Process etc
- Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely values-based feedback
- Lead on the recruitment, selection and induction of staff

**About you**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards
- Significant experience of leading teams providing services to people with complex needs
- Awareness of current drug strategy objectives and other national policies.
- Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice
- Able to lead, inspire and develop a team
