About the role:

Reporting directly to the FinanceDirector the Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in thedaytoday financial operations. Your dynamic and influentialapproach will be crucial in implementing financial controls tomitigate risks.

Key goals andobjectives:

In yourfirst three months youwill:

  • Familiariseyourself with Vintage Cash Cows financial systems including SageExcel and G Suite.

  • Establisheffective working relationships with team members and keystakeholders.

  • Gain acomprehensive understanding of the current financial processes andsystems in place.

In yourfirst six months youwill:

  • Assumeownership of monthend duties ensuring timely and accuratecompletion of management accounts.

  • Collaborate with the teamto identify areas for improvement and implement enhanced financialcontrols.

  • Successfullysupport the first audit demonstrating proficiency and compliance.

Within ayear youwill:

  • Demonstratemeasurable improvements in the accuracy and efficiency of financialprocesses.

  • Contributestrategic insights to support financial planning anddecisionmaking.

  • Foster apositive and efficient working environment within the finance team.

Keyresponsibilities:

  • Ownershipof daytoday finances ensuring accuracy andefficiency.

  • Preparation ofmanagement accounts including P&L balance sheetreconciliations and cash flow statements.

  • Development andimplementation of financial controls to mitigaterisks.

  • Accurate and timelycompletion of financialaccounts.

  • Active involvementin the firstaudit.

Essentialskills andexperience:

  • ACAACCA or CIMAqualification.

  • Experience ina fastpacedenvironment.

  • Strongknowledge of financial controls and risk mitigation.

  • Proficiency in financialsystems includingSage.

Nice tohave skills andexperience:

  • Ideallyexperienced in an ecommerce or FMCGorganisation.

  • Managementexperience.
