We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Freedom Heat Pumps in Preston as a Technical Support Manager.


As Technical Support Manager, you will lead our technical support team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical assistance and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heat pump technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer support.


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical support role, with 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory position
  • Deep understanding of heat pump systems, installation processes, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details in a clear and understandable manner
  • Proficiency in CRM software and technical support systems
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Flexibility to handle emergency situations outside of standard working hours, if necessary
