Event Space Operations Support

You will be part of a small, dedicated team working closely with front of house and hospitality personnel to setup and deliver a wide variety of business and experiential events, whilst also supporting hospitality and collaboration activities.

You will be working Tuesday to Thursday, 07:00 to 15:00, 22.5 hours per week, on a temporary, parti-time basis.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

Event set-up and strip-down

• Set up pop up banners/pack away and store after event

• Set up stand/stall furniture prior to event start date

• Set up visual equipment

• Ensure event installation is set up in a safe manner

• Furniture layout changes and storage of furniture when not in use

• Support vehicle movements within the building

• Support external event teams

Material handling

• Stores runs to collect equipment for events

• Meet with customers to store network equipment

• Build and maintain event assets

• Support Catering team with hospitality furniture & power requirements

• Support Collaboration hosts with furniture and layout changes

• Movement of event supported deliveries & collections

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Driving Licence Good physical mobility Manual handling Dexterity (furniture building and dismantling) General DIY experience Internal and external working Ability to work on own initiative Good communication skills

Desirable:

Computer literate MEWP Operation Forklift Operation

Requirements:

GCSE or equivalent preferable BICs cleaning qualification or equivalent is also desirable, but not essential Previous experience in a cleaning environment Previous experience of managing a team and demonstrate the ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures, in relation to Health&Safety Possess good interpersonal skills Drivers Licence required Flexible Working
