This full-time role involves working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, starting in early November.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to engage with their learning and manage their emotions.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in creating a nurturing and structured environment that promotes positive behaviour and academic progress.
  • Support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, focusing on individual learning needs.
  • Help implement behaviour management strategies and social development plans.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to support student well-being and growth.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEMH needs is preferred but not essential.
  • A caring, patient, and resilient attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students in their learning.
  • A desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.
