WRKdigital are delighted to be partnered with a leading TechnicalConsultancy who are looking for contract data engineers to join anew project team in Leeds.

You will be workingwith an expert team who are playing a huge part in ensuring theirclient takes full advantage of the data they capture and help buildout a new Azure platform to further theircapabilities.

The ideal candidate will have astrong background in handling big data, cloud technologies, andunstructured data, along with a deep understanding of datawarehousedesign.

Experience
* You will have good experience of Azure Data Factory and would beconfident coaching existing team members who are not experiencedwith the tools yet.
* Advanced skills in Databricks fordata engineering tasks, including experience with Delta Lake, dataprocessing, and optimization.
* Proficiency in datamodelling, ETL development, and data warehousingconcepts.

Tech Stack
ADF, Databricks combination building outa Lakehouse architecture and utilising DeltaLake and DeltaLivetables, Unity Catalog and Purview for the metadatacapture.

OtherTooling
* Azure DevOps will be used forversion control and promotions between environments
*JIRA will be used for task management

You willhave worked in an Scrum or Agile Frameworkenvironment.
