Are you a band 5 nurse working within our inpatient services at CWP? Are you looking to broaden your experience in a different service area, to open up opportunities for the future?
Our valued and skilled inpatient nursing staff are being offered an exciting opportunity to make a fast-track internal transfer to another ward or care group within the trust, without having to go through the formal application, interview and recruitment process.
Transfers would be on a permanent basis to the new area and you can register your interest via a simple internal application form, which will be matched to any vacant band 5 inpatient roles which meet your preferences.
You would then be invited to have an informal chat with the recruiting manager to say hello and ensure the new ward is the right fit for you, with no requirement to attend a formal interview.
Main duties of the job
Maybe you’ve had a lot of experience working on secure wards and would like to gain more experience within a children and young people’s setting. Or perhaps you’ve always worked with older people and would like to spend some time working within adults’ services.
Working for our organisation
Whatever your situation, we want to make it as easy as possible for our valued #TeamCWP nursing staff to enhance their development by gaining experience in different service areas. So why not put in an application to our internal transfer scheme and see where the next step on your career journey could take you?
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To meet the eligibility criteria, you will need to have worked for the trust in your current role for at least six month and have completed your preceptorship if you’re newly qualified. You will also need the support of your current line manager.
Person specification Eligibility Essential criteria- 6 months with CWP
