Eden Brown Synergy has exciting opportunity for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist (ASD) to join a MDT delivering services within educational settings, family hubs and home visits.

Permanent: (Full Time | Part Time |Flexible)

The Speech and Language Therapist would be required to undertake Autism diagnostic assessments for 3 days per week as part of the Multi-disciplinary team, writing reports with follow the DSM5 and supporting a decision as part of the Multi-disciplinary team.

The post can focus exclusively in this area or, at the successful applicants request, include other SLT service delivery activities.

The MDT would consist of: Speech and Language Therapist Lead; Specialist, Senior and Junior SLTs; Early Years Teacher; Speech and Language Therapy Assistants; all of whom are supported by a Business Support Team.

To be considered for this role the Speech and Language Therapist would have:

  • A Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Degree or Masters.
  • Registration with RCSLT and HCPC.
  • At least 2+ years' experience working as an Speech and Language Therapist with children, young people, their families and the Multi-agency team.
  • Experience working with children and young people with an ASD diagnosis

Preferably:

  • Preferably training relevant to the role (ADOS)
  • Experience in undertaking Autistic diagnostic assessments and writing reports.
  • Experience supervising and coaching others.
  • Experience in monitoring service outcomes.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office 365 suite including Outlook, SharePoint and Teams.
