This is a part-time post and would beideal if you are an existing Band 6 Occupational therapist who is looking tospecialise in Orthopaedics and surgical care.

You would have the unique opportunity to developyour specialist OT skills with complex trauma, Orthopaedics, acute surgical andamputee patients alongside a well-established multi-disciplinary team.
As part of the team, you will clinically managea caseload, completing detailed assessment & treatments in Orthopaedic andSurgical specialities, with patients who have complex needs including trauma,Orthopaedics, acute surgery & amputees.
Discharge planning skills are key to this post,and you will need to be able to make timely decisions regarding transfer tocommunity services and managing referrals to specialist units.
