What you'll do

Lead projects at both national and international level and co-ordinate task with various stakeholdersManage Logistics solutions and applications throughout their lifecycle from conception through to retirementCollaborate with business departments on potential new solutions and improvements to existing applicationsEnsure the stability, security and quality of provided solutionsProvide solutions to the business in a cost-efficient way whilst maintaining security, functionality and time-to-marketEnsure solution investments and costs are accurately planned in accordance with the annual planning processMaintain a comprehensive knowledge of the technical infrastructure as well as components/ platforms in useProvide support and incident management for applicable solutionsProvide out of hours support for relevant applications and projects

What you'll need

Experience of project and stakeholder management is essentialSQL knowledge/ inquisitive mindset is essentialIncident management experience is essentialKnowledge of requirement gathering essentialComfortable multitasking a diverse portfolio of projects and tasks essentialWorking knowledge of logistics solutions and applications, comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and operations is desirableExcellent presentation and communication skillsAbility to liaise and communicate at both a technical and non-technical levelA strong team mentality and good collaboration ethosStrong ownership of tasks and a keen eye for detailProactive in keeping up to date with the latest technologiesOccasional travel to distribution centres within GB and European countries requiredAn understanding of application security and governance practices is highly beneficial
